Civil Bank opens two branch offices

KATHMANDU, NOV 10:
Civil Bank on Thursday opened branch offices in Bijuwar of Pyuthan and Phidim of Paanchthar. Civil is the first bank to open an office in Bijuwar, says a bank statement. "The branches were opened with an aim of providing modern banking services to local entrepreneurs, businesspeople and the public," the statement quotes Civil Bank CEO Kishore Maharjan as saying. The bank is opening three more offices in Butwal, Birtamod and Nepalgunj by mid-December.
