Civil Bank opens ninth branchless banking outlet

KATHMANDU, Dec 10 :

Civil Bank Ltd has started its ninth branchless banking outlet at Lamosanghu of Sindhupalchowk district. Issuing a statement on Monday, the bank said that its senior executive officer (SEO) Govinda Gurung inaugurated the service, which will be provided by Resham Lal Shrestha, amid a ceremony on Monday.

“Whether it is a large business in an urban area or a small entrepreneur/farmer in a rural area, we have extended this type of a service in order to justify and move forward toward fulfilling our mission of becoming every Nepali´s banking partner by extending all types of ultra-modern banking services,” Gurung said in the program.

According to the statement, the branchless banking service will provide facilities such as withdrawal of funds, deposits, carry out fund transfers from one account to another, recharge mobile phones, ATM cards and remittance facility, among others.
