Civil Bank, Nepse sign pact

KATHMANDU, FEB 22:
Civil Bank and Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) have signed an agreement to list 20 million units of shares with a face value of Rs 100 per unit at the stock exchange. A memorandum of understanding was signed and exchanged between chief executive of Civil Bank Kishore Maharjan and acting general manager of Nepse Pramod Kumar Bhattarai. The bank had allotted 8,000,000 units of ordinary shares via Citizens Investment Trust, NCM Capital Markets, Nabil Investment and Ace Capital Market. With 8,000,000 units of public shares and 12,000,000 units of promoters share, a total of 20,000,000 shares will be listed at the stock market in the near future. Civil Bank has collected deposits worth Rs 10.87 billion, and its loans and advances stand at Rs 9.95 billion till date.
