Civil Bank launches branchless banking in Okhaldhunga

KATHMANDU, Nov 6 :

Civil Bank Ltd has started its third branchless banking service in Okhaldhunga.

According to a bank statement, Civil´s Senior Executive Officer Govinda Gurung inaugurated the service started that has been started through Rumjatar Savings and Credit Co-operative. “Whether it is a large business in an urban area or a small entrepreneur/farmer in a rural area, we have extended this type of a service to move forward toward fulfilling our mission of ´becoming every Nepali´s banking partner´ by extending all types of ultra-modern banking services,” Gurung said at the inaugural ceremony.

According to the bank, clients will be able to avail facilities such as withdrawal of funds in a secure manner, make deposits, carry out fund transfers from one account to another, recharge mobile phones, among others, through this new service.
