Civil Bank expands branchless banking service

KATHMANDU, Dec 2:

Civil Bank has started its sixth and seventh branchless banking services in Jitpur and Parwanipur of Parsa, respectively.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the bank said the branchless banking services will be provided by Yam Bahadur Rana in Jitpur and by Shrijansheel Byabasaya Taalim Kendra in Parwanipur.

Gadhimai Municipality´s CEO Krishna Chapagain inaugurated the services in Jitpur and Chief of Urban Development Program Shailendra Kumar Shrestha inaugurated the service in Parwanipur on Monday.

According to the bank, facilities like withdrawal of funds, deposits, fund transfers, mobile phones top-up, ATM cards, remittance, MobilemaiNagad, SMS alert, checking of account balance, and printing of statement, among others, will be available through the branchless services.
