Civil Bank branches in Salyan, Rukum

KATHMANDU, May 15:
Civil Bank Ltd, on Thursday, expanded its network to the mid-west of the country, with the opening of branches in Salyan and Rukum.
“Civil Bank has been expanding its branches to the remote areas, basically for providing financial access to farmers to transform the subsistence status of agriculture,” a statement issued by the bank quoted Chief Executive Officer Kishore Maharjan as saying, adding “Local entrepreneurs and the general public too will get benefits from banking services.”
The bank aims to add branches in Kapan and Swoyambhu in Kathmandu, Jawalakhel in Lalitpur, and in Okhaldhunga, Janakpur and Dhangadhi, according to the statement.
