Civil Bank aims to promote agro business in partnership with local units; joins hands with Melamchi Nagarpalika and Idea Studio Nepal to provide subsidized agro loans to trained and skillful farmers

Civil Bank, Idea Studio Nepal and Melamchi Nagarpalika have inked a three-party deal with an aim to provide agro based loans to inhabitants of nagarpalika in order to modernize the agriculture of the local unit and to promote and market the agricultural products.

The agreement regarding the same was signed between CEO of the bank Mr. Govinda Gurung, Chairman of Idea Studio Nepal Dr. Chiring Lama and Mayor of Melamchi Nagarpalika Mr. Dambar Bahadur Lama.

Under the scheme, Idea Studio will now provide technical training to the farmers of Melamchi Nagarpalika regarding several aspects of scientific farming and marketing while the bank shall provide subsidized loan to the farmers with the recommendation from the local unit, as per the media statement.
