Citizens Bank Partners with Life Quest Clinic to Promote Digital Health Payments and Customer Benefits

Citizens Bank International Limited has signed an MoU with Life Quest Clinical Lab Pvt. Ltd. in Panipokhari, Kathmandu, to offer up to 20% discounts on health services for customers using debit/credit cards or mobile banking. This initiative aims to promote digital payments in healthcare while reducing medical costs for customers.

The bank sees this partnership as part of its broader mission to support Nepal’s transition toward a cashless economy. Citizens Bank has introduced several digital innovations, including the Citizens Fonepay Credit Card, Nepal’s first virtual credit card, and the Cross-Bank Teller QR service, which allows customers of other banks to withdraw cash at Citizens Bank branches via QR code.

Recently awarded “Bank of the Year 2024”, Citizens Bank now operates in 61 districts with 200 branches, 168 ATMs, and 1.89 million+ customers. Through such collaborations, the bank combines financial technology with social impact, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive banking and improved quality of life across Nepal.
