Citizens Bank Launches Online Loan Facility Against Fixed Deposits for Instant Access

Citizens Bank International Limited has launched an online loan facility allowing customers to borrow up to 90% of their fixed deposits via its mobile app, with instant credit to their savings account and no paperwork required. This move enhances digital banking convenience.

The bank, which recently won the “Bank of the Year 2024” award, also introduced Nepal’s first virtual credit card in partnership with Fonepay and continues to expand its digital services, serving over 1.97 million customers through 200 branches and a robust digital network.
