Citizens Bank launches Citizens Saral saving account; to provide Rs 100 as bonus balance from its side

Following the instructions of the central bank and the campaign of the federal government to bring all the citizens of Nepal under banking access in the new year, Citizens Bank International is offering “Citizens Saral” saving account. As per the decision of the government, the bank will provide Rs 100 as the opening balance for all the eligible bank account holders under this scheme. It will also provide 5% interest as well as number of banking services without any cost, as per the media statement.

The bank currently has 81 branches, 75 ATM outlets and 99 branchless banking units all around the nation.
