Citizens Bank International Supports Visually Impaired Students in Chitwan with Braille Educational Materials

As part of its ongoing commitment to providing inclusive and accessible services, Citizens Bank International Limited, operating under the slogan "Hajurko Pragati Ko Sahayatri" for the past fifteen years, has contributed Braille educational materials to visually impaired students at Jhuwani Secondary School in Ratnanagar 05, Jhuwani, Chitwan. The bank collaborated with Maitri Samaj Nepal, an organization dedicated to youth welfare, to facilitate this support.

In a ceremony held at the school today, the Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Bank International, Ganesh Raj Pokharel, presented educational materials valued at Rs. 1 lakh to aid visually impaired students in their educational journey. CEO Pokharel emphasized the importance of addressing the educational needs of visually impaired and other disabled children, acknowledging the lack of sufficient materials and necessary facilities. He expressed that the provision of Braille paper and other educational materials, while a symbolic gesture, reflects the bank's commitment to its social responsibility.
