Citizens Bank International Limited Conducts Nationwide Financial Literacy for Global Money Week 2026
Citizens Bank International Limited conducted financial literacy programs across all seven provinces during Global Money Week 2026, held from Chaitra 2 to Chaitra 8, 2082 under the theme “Smart Money Talks.”
Through 108 branch offices, the bank organized awareness programs targeting thousands of individuals, benefiting around 6,000 participants nationwide. The sessions focused on the importance of financial literacy, safe banking practices, digital banking risks, and encouraged the use of formal banking channels for transactions and remittances.

The bank also highlighted its recent innovations, including the launch of Nepal’s first virtual credit card “Citizens PhonePe Credit Card,” Gen-Z focused savings account, freelancer savings account, and integrated digital banking platform.
Currently, the bank operates across 61 districts through over 200 branches, ATMs, and service units, serving more than 2 million customers with modern banking services.
