Citizens Bank International commemorates 12th anniversary; conducts range of CSR activities all over the nation
Citizens Bank International has conducted range of events to observe its 12th anniversary. The bank has conducted a walkathon event at its head office which was attended by more than 350 employees of the bank. CEO of the bank Mr. Ganesh Raj Pokhrel felicitated the employees who have been working for the bank for the last 10 years amid the same event.
The bank also provided cash support of Rs 1 lakh to Snow Yak Foundation which is working to provide quality education to financially disadvantaged children, Rs 2 lakh to Baby Life Home of Kirtipur that works for the children suffering from AIDS, and Rs 3 lakh to Chitwan Manav Sewa Ashram that provides food and shelter to street children of different ages.
The bank also conducted blood donation events at its different branches including at its head office in Narayanhiti, Bhaktapur, Bhaisepati, Kupondol, Biratnagar, Damak, Dharan, Janakpur, Birgunj, Hetauda, Narayangad, Banepa, Pokhara, Butwal, Ghorahi, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Mahendranagar and Birtamod.
The bank currently provides banking services to more than 4 lakh customers from its 81 branches, 75 ATM terminals and 99 branchless banking units.
