Citizens Bank International and Om Finance propose dividends

Citizens Bank International board of directors has proposed to offer 15% cash dividend to the bank’s shareholders. The decision to provide the dividend was passed at the 127th BOD.
The proposal has to be approved by the Nepal Rastra Bank and the upcoming AGM of Citizens Bank International. The bank had earned a net profit of Rs 399.60 million in the FY 2069/70.
Likewise, Om Finance has decided to distribute 21 percent dividend to its shareholders. The finance company has decided to provide 20 percent bonus shares and 1 percent cash dividend.
The decision has already been approved by the Nepal Rastra Bank and the dividends would be distributed after a proposal in this regard would be endorsed by the finance company’s upcoming general assembly meeting.
After issuing the bonus shares, the finance company’s paid up capital will reach Rs 32.57 crore. The finance company will enter 14th year of its operation on Asoj 1.
