Citizens Bank Hosts Leadership Seminar and Reports Strong Double-Digit Growth Across Key Financial Indicators

Citizens Bank International Limited recently organized the “Inspiring Leadership and Performance Seminar on Achieved Budget Goals and Operational Success in Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim” for provincial heads, cluster heads, branch managers, and staff. The seminar, attended by CEO Ganesh Raj Pokharel and senior executives, reviewed last fiscal year’s performance, discussed priorities for the current year, and emphasized strengthening collaboration between central and provincial offices.

The bank reported double-digit growth in key indicators for FY 2081/82, including an 11.15% increase in loan disbursement (reaching NPR 1.75 trillion), an 11.69% rise in deposits (totaling NPR 2.14 trillion), and an 11.20% growth in net interest income (NPR 636 million). The bank maintained a CD ratio of 81.91%, ROA of 0.55%, and ROE of 5.81%.

Citizens Bank has also pioneered digital banking innovations in Nepal, launching the Citizens PhonePe Credit Card and enabling share applications and CRN services through its mobile app. With 200 branches, 169 ATMs, 3 extended counters, and 74 branchless banking units across 61 districts, the bank serves over 1.93 million customers with modern banking services.
