Citizens Bank disburses cash worth Rs 5.17 crore under World Food Program to rural citizens

Citizens Bank International under the World Food Program’s initiative “Money for Work” has disbursed payment to the locals of Doti district for the construction of the local road.

The bank organized cash disbursement program for 3633 families belonging to seven different Gaupalikas of the district who were handed over the cash amounting to Rs 5.17 crore. With this effort, the bank aims to support the noble cause of economic upliftment of rural folks of the nation, reads the media statement from the bank.

The bank is currently providing banking services from its 79 branches, 72 AtM outlets and 99 branchless banking units throughout the nation.
