Chilime to hold its AGM on Monday; 35% dividend to be approved

Chilime Hydropower Company Ltd (CHCL) is convening its 18th annual general meeting (AGM) on Kartik 3. Publishing the notice today, CHCL said that its 18th AGM will be held on Monday at Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali in Kathmandu.

The AGM, among other agenda, is scheduled to approve the dividend proposed by its board of directors.

CHCL has already proposed 35 percent dividend – 20 percent bonus share and 15 percent cash – to the shareholders from the net profit the blue-chip company posted in the last fiscal year 2070/71.

According to the unaudited balance sheet of CHCL, it has earned profit of Rs 93.97 crore in the last fiscal year 2070/71. Similarly, the AGM is also discussing on the agenda of merging the ‘Kha’ and ‘Ga’ shareholder groups to only one group ‘Kha’.
