Chilime distributing 10 % cash dividend from today

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited is distributing 10 percent cash dividend to the shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year of 2069/70 from today.

However, all the shareholders holders will not be able to get the dividend before Dashain.

The shareholders listed up to code number 2000 will be getting the dividend before Dashain while the rest have to wait for the festival to end.

Likewise, all the shareholders must wait till the festive season is over to get the bonus share.

The 17th Annual General Meeting of the hydropower developer held in the capital yesterday also decided to distribute 30 percent bonus share, besides 10 percent cash dividend.

The company will be distributing the cash dividend its RTS, Nagarik Lagani Kosh from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM from Sundays to Thursdays and from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Fridays.

The distribution of cash dividend will continue till November 14.

The hydropower company posted a net profit of Rs 963.75 million (Rs 96 crore, 37 lakh and 50 thousand) during the fiscal year 2069/70.

Its profit in the previous fiscal year stood at Rs 945.32 million (Rs 94 crore, 32 lakh).Last year, company had distributed 30 percent bonus and 20 percent cash divined to its share holders.
