Chhyangdi and Mountain Hydropower publish first quarter performance for Q1 2076/77; Annualized EPS of Chhyangdi at Rs 15.40 and Mountain at negative

Chhyangdi Hydropower Limited (CHL) has reported a 56.92% rise in net profit transferred to the balance sheet in the first quarter of the FY 2076/77.
According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit transferred to the balance sheet amounts to Rs.2.50 Crore which was Rs. 1.59 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2075/76. However, net profit for the year stands at Rs.1.04 crore compared to previous years Rs.89.96 Lakhs.
It earned Rs.2.18 Crore as income from electricity sales to NEA, it amounted Rs. 2.03 Crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Its share capital remains at Rs.27 Crore. The reserve fund of the company has increased to Rs.2.50 Crore in the first quarter, which has increased from Rs.1.59 crore to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Its annualized earning per share stands at Rs.15.40 and net worth per share is Rs.105.16 with a PE ratio of 33.86 times.
Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) has reported a net loss of Rs 4.58 crore for Q1 of 2076/77. The company had a net loss of Rs 2.26 crore in the Q1 of last year.
MHNL's revenue from power sales is Rs 10.10 crore. Its paid-up capital stands at Rs 1.25 arba with a negative reserve of Rs 10.58 crore.
It has Rs 5 crore as an investment in subsidiaries.
As of Q1 of FY 2076/77, the company's EPS is negative, net worth per share stands at Rs 91.53 and the liquidity ratio stands at 0.40 times.
