Chamber urges Rastra Bank to reschedule loan payment window to Asar end; once again urges to bring down lending rates to single digit

Nepal Chamber of Commerce, while providing nine-point suggestions to the Nepal Rastra Bank for its upcoming semi annual review of monetary policy, has urged the central bank to provide flexibility to the borrowers in dire situations for the payment of their due loan amount to the end of Asar, 2080.

The chamber has also urged the central bank to bring down the lending rate to a single digit and allow banks to add a maximum of 2% premium in the base rate. Similarly, the chamber has also asked the central bank to bring attractive packages for those sending the remittance via formal banking channels, as per the media statement.
