Nepal Chamber of Commerce has submitted a 100-point recommendation to Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, urging the government to draft a realistic budget based on actual tax revenues and committed foreign aid. The Chamber emphasized timely capital expenditure, export promotion through local resources like herbs and minerals, and restructuring tax systems.

Key suggestions include prioritizing IT sector development, encouraging investment of remittance funds into infrastructure, offering subsidized loans to SMEs, and standardizing land valuation. They also recommended eliminating the existing capital loan directive, maintaining low taxes on electric vehicles, and modernizing agriculture through mechanization and land lease policies.
