Chairman of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Mr. Rajendra Malla, amid an event of Kailali Chamber of Commerce at Dhangadi, has urged the federal government to regulate the porous border between Nepal and India so as to regulate the legal trade and commerce between these two neighbouring countries.

Claiming that the government is also losing billions of revenues due to the unofficial economy and broadening network of smuggling of goods between these two countries, the chairman of the chamber Mr. Malla has urged the federal government to look into this matter where it needs to collaborate with its Indian counterpart so as to cut down on the now 40% of the illegal trades that are actually taking place using these unregulated border points, as per the media statement.
