CG Motors Launches King Long 16-Seater Electric Van in Nepal

CG Motors has officially launched a new 16-seater electric van under the King Long brand, featuring advanced technology and strong performance aimed at Nepal’s commercial EV market. The van is powered by a 75.41 kWh blade battery, the first of its kind in this segment, offering enhanced safety, durability, and driving range. It also includes a 120 kW motor for powerful performance and a spacious, comfortable interior for passengers.

Originally founded in 1988 in Xiamen, China, King Long has established a global presence in manufacturing buses and commercial vehicles. CG Motors stated that the vehicle is designed to meet Nepal’s growing demand for eco-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective transport solutions. The brand has already sold over 5,000 units across Nepal and supports customers through an extensive network of charging stations, service centers, and dealers. The new 16-seater electric van is priced starting at Rs. 72.50 lakhs, making it an appealing option for transport entrepreneurs and fleet operators.
