CEO of erstwhile Janata Bank Mr. Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri sworn in as top boss of revamped and strong Global IME Bank; brings 3 decades plus rich banking experience to the table

Global IME Bank has appointed Mr. Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri as its CEO to be effective from Mangsir 20, 2076, the same day when it began joint transaction with Janata Bank following the successful merger process.

Mr. Chhetri has more than 3 decades of rich banking experience to his credit, had undertaken Janata Bank’s CEO role from Asad 1, 2074. Chairman of the bank Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal administered oath of designation and secrecy to the CEO Mr. Kunwar amid a program after the completion of the event to mark joint operation on Mangsir 20, 2076, as per the media statement.

Following the merger, the new bank will have about Rs 19 arba in paid up capital, more than Rs 2.13 Kharba in deposit collection and around Rs 2 kharba as loan disbursement, more than 850 banking centers, more than 3250 employees.

The bank will have its presence in all 77 districts with its 300 plus branches, 259 ATM machines, 243 branchless banking units, 33 extension and revenue collection counters and 3 foreign relation offices making it’s the biggest bank in Nepal.
