CEO claims Rastriya Banijya Bank offers the best employee benefit package

Mr. Krishna Prasad Sharma, CEO of Rastriya banijya bank Limited (RBBL), has claimed that the RBBL offers the best benefit package to its employee. He stated RBBL would match the employee benefit if any other Bank and Financial Institutions (BFI) in Nepal is offering the better package as compared to RBBL. In recent years, RBBL has been successful to trim its work force by 50%. It used to employ approximately 5,000 employees in the past. Now the number of current employees stands around 2,500. Branchless and mobile banking has helped the RBBL to keep lower number of workforce while expanding services to various part of Nepal.
