Century Bank corporate cricket from Friday

KATHMANDU, Sept 23:

The Century Bank Corporate Super Sixes cricket tournament is all set to kick off on Friday at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Organizing a press meet on Tuesday, the organizer SS Events informed that the five-day tournament will be held in league-cum-knockout format and will feature a total of 18 teams.

The participating teams have been divided into six groups with three in each group. The winner of each group and the two best runners-up will qualify for the quarterfinals.

Yeti Airlines, Century Bank and Nagarik Daily are in Group A, while Group B comprises ICFC Bank, Citizen Bank and Nepal Investment Bank. Kailash Bikas Bank, NIC Asia and NMB Bank make up Group C, while Civil Bank, Indian Embassy and Global IME are pitted in Group D. Similarly, Group E consists of Prime Life Insurance, Janata Bank and Siddhartha Bank, while Sanima Bank, Sipradi and United Spirits are placed in Group F.

Century Bank is the title sponsor of the tournament and Republica is the official media partner.
