CEDBL celebrates values-based banking global movement

KATHMANDU, Nov 17:  

Clean Energy Development Bank Ltd (CEDBL) has said that it celebrated 24 hours of values-based banking global movement through both online and offline events.

“As a part of Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV), CEDBL added local voices from Nepal to a growing, global movement through the #IAm #BankingOnValues campaign in social networking sites Facebook and Twitter for online event and organizing events to spread awareness of value based banking at various locations in Kathmandu and Lalitpur,” the bank said in a statement.

According to the bank, this campaign is the first international awareness campaign by the GABV which is a network of 25 financial institutions, across 30 countries, serving 20 million customers and supported by 30,000 co-workers worldwide.
