CEDB, VSBK-Entrepreneurs Association join hands

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Clean Energy Development Bank (CEDB) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Vertical Shaft Brick Kiln Technology Transfer Program (VSBK) Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal on Monday to develop and promote environment-friendly and technology-based enterprises.

According to the MoU, CEDB, a bank investing on environment friendly factories, will extend loans (capital expenditure or working capital) to those entrepreneurs who are running the VSBK technology-based factories or who want to open a new one in a low interest rate with a priority.

General Manager of CEDB Bank, Barsha Shrestha and Chairperson of VSBK Entrepreneurs Association Janardan Neupane signed the MoU.
Following the agreement, the bank will deal on the VSBK loan through a separate unit in its headquarters to make the loan process easy and effective.

The VSBK Entrepreneurs Association will inform CEBD about the technical aspects of the VSBK if required, stated a press release issued by the bank.
Likewise, VSBK Entrepreneurs Association will also be responsible for recommending entrepreneurs to the bank.
