CEDB holds 8th AGM

KATHMANDU, Jan 13 :
Clean Energy Development Bank (CEDB) held its 8th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday. Addressing the AGM, Kapil Sharma, CEO of the bank, said: “Even at trying economy, CEDB has made steady progress and has registered an operating profit of Rs 256 million.
” The AGM endorsed the board of directors´ proposal of distributing 10 percent bonus share to the bank´s shareholders, according to a statement issued on Monday.
Total deposits and loans of the bank stoood at Rs 8.718 billion and Rs 7.614 billion, respectively, at the end of the first quarter of 2014/15. The bank has nine branch offices across the country.
