CBIL extends branchless banking reach

KATHMANDU, APR 05:
Three more branches of Citizen Bank International Ltd (CBIL) have started offering branchless banking services. A statement issued by the bank said the services had been started from Chatara of Itahari, Mainapokhari and Namdu of Charikot. The bank has already been providing the services from 31 places in remote areas in a bid to make the banking service more accessible to local people, the bank said.
CBIL currently has 34 branches across the country.
