Capital market training in Besisahar

The Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon), the securities market regulator, has taken initiatives to raise awareness on capital market at local levels of the country. According to a Sebon statement, a training program on capital market was organized in Beshisahar of Lamjung district in collaboration with Lamjung Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

As per the statement, Ambika Prasad Giri, a Sebon official, Murahari Parajuli, an official at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, and Dip Shikha from Nepal Stockbrokers´ Association, among others, presented papers on capital market and other related issues at the program."Sebon has set a target of holding such training programs all over the country," reads the statement. "A total of 20 such training programs have been held in 18 districts so far." Such programs are participated by local businessmen, teachers, students and people from different walks of life, says the statement.
