Cabinet takes huge decision; NEPSE's GM along with dozens to lose their position?

Many government officials appointed by the previous government are about to lose their respective positions. The meeting of the cabinet has decided to discard the appointment of various officials done by the government under Mr Sher Bahadur Deuba stating that the appointment was made violating the code of conduct of the election.

After the Communist coalition had achieved majority, the then temporary government under Mr Deuba had made appointment of various officials. The appointment includes Chief Executive Officers of various institutions and organizations.

Among many such appointments to be discarded, the appointment of Mr Chandra Singh Saud, GM of NEPSE is also in the verge of being discarded. Mr Saud was appointed as the GM of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) by the previous government on Ashwin 23, 2074.

Along with Mr Saud, the following appointments are in the verge of being discarded;

Digambar Jha, Chairman, Nepal Telecom

Yubaraj Bhusal, CEO, National Reconstruction Authority

Sangita Bhandari, Vice-Chancellor, Rapti Institute of Health Science

Minraj Chaudhary, Chairman, Guthi Sansthan

Nikita Poudel, Chairman, Film Development Board

Other officials are also included in the list along with all the chairman of National Youth Council as well as Chairman of all the Nagarbikas Samiti.
