BYD Hits 13-Million NEV Milestone, Cements Global Leadership in Green Mobility

On July 21, 2025, BYD celebrated the production of its 13-millionth new energy vehicle (NEV), the YANGWANG U7, at its Xiaomo Production Base.

In the first half of 2025, BYD sold over 2.11 million units in China (up 31.5% YoY) and 472,000 units internationally (up 128.5% YoY), securing its position as the global leader in NEV sales.

This milestone highlights BYD’s growing global influence and the rising competitiveness of Chinese brands in the high-end NEV market.
