BYD, a global leader in new energy vehicles, announced that its all-electric BYD Dolphin hatchback has surpassed 1 million cumulative sales, becoming China’s fastest-selling EV hatchback. In Nepal, the Dolphin, launched in September 2023 by Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., has quickly become the country’s No.1 hatchback across all powertrains, with over 2,500 vehicles on Nepali roads.

Positioned as Nepal’s “Safe & Smart Family Car,” the Dolphin combines advanced safety, intelligent features, and a spacious, family-friendly design. Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 and equipped with the Blade Battery, it ensures durability and passenger protection.
