Butwal Power's profit rises by 38.85%; EPS reported as Rs 4.68

The hydropower company Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) has showed decent increase in net profit by 38.85% percent in the first quarter of the FY 2075/76.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has increased to Rs 10.38 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2075/76 from Rs 7.47 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75.

BPCL has made regular income from power sales of Rs 19.99 crore by the end of the first quarter from Rs 20.89 crore in the corresponding quarter.

Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 2.21 arba with Rs 4.39 arba in reserve fund.

Its first quarter, earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs 4.68, net worth per share is at Rs 298.11 and P/E ratio at 101.92 times.
