Butwal Power Company’s net profit stands at Rs.85.88 Crore till second quarter; total revenue reaches Rs.40.47 Crore

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) has reported profit after tax of Rs.85.88 Crore in the Q2 of FY 2076/77. The profit of the company has increased from Rs.75.82 Crore posted in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. The total comprehensive gain till the end of second quarter stood at Rs.52.24 Crore compared to corresponding quarters Rs.55.68 Crore.

The revenue has increased to Rs.40.47 Crore in Q2 of FY 2076/77 from Rs.38.40 Crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal year. BPCL's finance income has fallen to Rs.1.88 Crore from Rs.9.03 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

The paid up capital stands at Rs.2.68 Arba by the end of the second quarter.

The EPS of the hydropower company stands at Rs.32 while net worth per share at Rs.260.21. Annualized PE ratio of 10.25 times was reported till the second quarter end.
