Butwal Power Company to enable its community-based electricity users to pay electricity bill via Khalti wallet; clients from 4 areas in west Nepal to be benefited

Butwal Power Company and Khalti have inked an agreement to enable BPCL’s clients to pay their electricity bills via Khalti.

The agreement regarding the same was signed between the Corporate department head of BPCL Mr. Tika Ram Bhatt and the Deputy Director of Khalti Mr. Jonam Bhurtel during a program.

Khalti has added community-based electricity payment for Butwal Power Company in its utility payment section following which customers of BPC can make electricity bill payment right from their Khalti wallet or via their bank account, as per the media statement.

BPCL has been supplying electricity to Walling,  Galyang, Rampur, and Jhimruk areas in west Nepal whose residents can now make digital payment via Khalti, as per the media statement.
