Butwal Power Company convenes its 30th AGM; endorses 12.5% dividend to its shareholders and becomes one of the largest private sector power producers in Nepal

Butwal Power Company has convened its 30th AGM for the FY 2078-79 under the leadership of its chairman Mr. Padma Jyoti on Poush 30, 2079.

The AGM has endorsed the board’s proposal to provide 5% bonus shares and 7.5% cash dividend to its shareholders. the paid-up capital of the company will scale up to Rs 3.40 arba after the capitalization of the proposed bonus shares, as per the media statement.

The Company has already operationalized 9.4 MW Aadhikhola Hydropower Company, 12 MW Jhimruk Hydro project, 4 MW Khudi Hydropower, 60 MW Khimti First Hydropower, And 30 MW Yadi Hydropower.

The company is currently constructing 37.6 MW Kabeli A project, 135 MW Manang Marsyangdi Project, 139.2 MW Lower Manang Marsyandi hydro project, 237 Upper Marsyangdi 2 project and 7.9 MW Chinokhola hydro project and a few other projects under the feasibility study, as per the media statement.
