Butwal Power Company (BPCL) Proposes 20% Dividend, When's the Book Closure?

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) has called its 29th AGM on Poush 26. The meeting will be held in the bank's registered office in Baneshwor, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The company has proposed 10% in bonus shares and 10% in cash dividends. The dividend will be distributed only after endorsement by the upcoming AGM.

Poush 11 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.

BPCL closed at Rs. 438.60 yesterday.
