Butwal Goes Green with Mahindra Electric Vehicles! Opens first EV showroom outside Kathmandu

Agni Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Agni Group and the authorized distributor of Mahindra electric vehicles (EVs) has opened its new showroom of Mahindra Electric vehicles (EVs) at Tillotama, Jogikuti, Butwal on 24th October, 2019. This is the first Mahindra Electric vehicles (EVs) show room outside Kathmandu Valley. Till now Mahindra Electric vehicles (EVs) were accessible for consumers of Kathmandu Valley and its surrounding areas.
The showroom was inaugurated by Mrs. Sita Devi Baudel, Constitute Assembly Honorable Member of State-5, Butwal along with Mr. Cabinet Shrestha, Managing director of Agni Group and Mr. Pramod Bhandari, Senior Executive Manager of Agni Energy.
Issuing a press release, the company said that the objective of establishing this new showroom is to provide customers of the Butwal and its surrounding areas added benefits by making it more convenient and economical for them to get access to the company and all its quality service.
According to Mr. Ajaya Kumar Khati Chhetri, the managing director of Green Drive Group, Butwal-Dealer of Agni Energy, the showroom will provide servicing and spare parts for Mahindra's electric cars such as Mahindra e2o and eVerito. He further said that since more consumers are gravitating towards electric vehicles (EVs) due to overall cost savings compared to vehicles powered by fossil fuels, this showroom will meet their expectation in facilitating such vehicle in their own native place. Because of Butwal’s landscape and urban settings Mahindra Electric Vehicles are perfect fit for the natives.
According to the Senior Executive Manager Pramod Bhandari of Agni Energy, the “electric vehicles (EV) have lots of benefit for the people and the environment. Even the Government is more concerned about its usage for which to priorities electric vehicles (EVs), the government is gearing up to set up EV charging stations in various part of the country. EVs requires low maintenance and it’s also cheaper in contrast to petrol and diesel vehicles, he said. Today people are very much aware of the economic benefits of owning vehicles and “The Mahindra EV will cost less than Re 1 per km which the general public is not aware of,” he added.
According to the company, the establishment of the new Mahindra showroom in this region is expected to further strengthen the trust between the customers and the company in the coming days.
