Bullish Mania on Hydropower seems to have revived; NEPSE gains 4.17 points and closes at 1,586.29 with Rs. 2.51 Arba turnover

The NEPSE index gained 4.17 points and ultimately closed at 1,586.29 today.
Overall 6.26 points volatility was witnessed in the trading session, with the highest point being 1,588.01 and the lowest being 1,581.75. The market open itself was the intraday high.
9,949,317 shares exchanged hands via 39,236 transactions. The trading of 195 scrips brought the total market turnover to Rs. 2.51 Arba.
The Float index gained 0.33 points and closed at 110.29 while the Sensitive index is at 313.22 after gaining 0.76 points.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) had the highest individual scrip turnover of Rs. 10.70 crores. Meanwhile, the shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) traded the most.
A total of 14 companies technically hit a 10% positive circuit today. Most of them are hydropower companies.
On the other hand, Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) lost the most 4%.
Six sectors gained while six lost today. Hydropower gained the most 5.12% and Non-Life Insurance lost the most 0.72%.
