British Council to Host Free South Asia Teaching English Online Conference 2026

The British Council will host the free, three-day South Asia TeachingEnglish Online Conference 2026 from July 23–25, bringing together educators, researchers and teacher educators from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The conference will focus on how creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, learner agency and communication skills can prepare students for an increasingly complex world.

Sessions will explore inclusive multilingual classrooms, innovative teaching methods, learner participation and the responsible use of AI and emerging technologies in education.

Through keynote speeches, expert discussions and classroom case studies, participants will gain practical, research-based strategies for improving teaching and learning.
