British Council Launches Youth and Climate 2024 Event

The British Council initiated the "Youth and Climate 2024: Towards Creative Green Economy and Climate Action" event on June 3, running until June 10. The event aims to unite stakeholders from various sectors to explore the intersection of the creative green economy and youth leadership in climate action.

British Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, and Regional Director, South Asia, British Council, Helen Silvester, highlighted the importance of youth and creativity in addressing climate challenges.

The event saw the launch of the Policy Brief on the Creative Green Economy in Nepal and a research report on Nepalese youth's perceptions and readiness for climate action leadership. The symposium marked significant progress in mainstreaming the creative green economy, endorsed by public policy stakeholders.
