Bonus Shares of ALICL and SABSL Listed in NEPSE

52,90,742.72 units bonus shares of Asian Life Insurance Company Limited (ALICL) have been listed in NEPSE.

The 13th AGM of the company held on 21st Magh, 2078 endorsed a 27% dividend for the fiscal year 2076/77. The meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 30 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 2.01 Arba. 25% bonus shares worth slightly over Rs. 50.26 crores and 2% cash dividend (for tax purposes) worth slightly over Rs. 4.02 crores have been proposed.

The same bonus shares are now listed in NEPSE. Magh 12 was the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout.

ALICL closed at Rs. 929 today.

Similarly, 6,39,727.50 units bonus shares of Sabaiko Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SABSL) have been listed in NEPSE.

The 5th AGM of the company held on 3rd Poush, 2078 endorsed a 32.68% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the board of directors held on Ashoj 19 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 20,60,27,250. 31.05% bonus shares and 1.63% cash dividend (tax purposes) have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are a little over Rs. 6.39 crores and the cash dividend is worth a little over Rs. 33.66 lakhs.

The same bonus shares are now listed in NEPSE. Mangsir 17 was the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout.

SABSL closed at Rs. 1,320 today.
