BoK relaunches M-PAISA

KATHMANDU, MAR 15 -
The Bank of Kathmandu ( BoK ) on Thursday relaunched its mobile banking service M-PAISA in association with Hello Paisa Network of Finaccess with added features and services. According to the bank, M-PAISA has been resumed with advanced technology service that will permit customers to manage their banking services through a secure and convenient medium.
Currently, the M-PAISA service can be accessed nationwide by customers of Nepal Telecom only with free registration at all BOK branches. Under this service, customers can transfer money to anyone anytime, make payments to merchants for purchase of goods and services, check their account balance and receive mini statements of their last three transactions, recharge mobile PIN and pay telephone and mobile bills.
In addition, the M-PAISA service also allows money transfers to customers of financial institutions that are connected to the Hello Paisa service. The bank launched its M-PAISA service on Dec 10, 2010.
