BoK M-PAISA relaunched

Bank of Kathmandu (BoK) has re-launched its innovative mobile banking service ‘M-PAISA’ in association with Hello Paisa Network of Finaccess with attractive features and services to serve customers in a better way.

The service has been re-launched with advanced technology that will enable customers to access informative and transactional banking services through a secure and convenient medium, it said.

“At present the ‘M-PAISA’ service can be availed by subscribers of Nepal Telecom (GSM), Ncell, UTL and Smart Telecom with free registration available at all Bank of Kathmandu branches across the country.”

Under the service, customers can transfer funds to anyone-anytime, make payments to merchants on purchase of goods, services, check their account balance and receive mini statements of the last three transactions, recharge mobile PIN and pay telephone — post-paid mobile bills and also make payments for ADSL internet bill — using their mobile phone.

Moreover, M-PAISA service also enables account-to-account fund transfer among its registered users maintaining accounts at any of the partner financial institutions of Hello Paisa. Bank of Kathmandu had officially launched the mobile banking service M-PAISA on December 10, 2010.
