Biratnagar customs office raises Rs.7.66 billion revenue

BIRATNAGAR, FEB 20:
Regional Customs Office, Biratnagar, has raised Rs. 7.66 billion in the first seven months of the current fiscal year.
Rajendra Prasad Dahal, Chief Customs Officer at the Office said the office has raised Rs. 7.66 billion revenue in the period against its target of raising Rs. 6.81 billion. It is 12 per cent more than the target.
Control on smuggling, effective monitoring and increase in the import and export through the check point, and fair evaluation of customs have all contributed to the rise in the revenue.
