BIFU Nepal Hosts Knowledge Sharing on Monetary Policy 2082/083 to Empower Financial Sector Employees

The Bank, Insurance, & Finance Unions-Nepal (BIFU-Nepal) organized a knowledge-sharing program on the Monetary Policy 2082/083 in Kathmandu on Monday. The event aimed to support employees in the banking and financial sectors to effectively implement the monetary policy.

Dr. Ramsharan Kharel, Executive Director of the Economic Research Department at Nepal Rastra Bank, facilitated the session, providing an in-depth analysis of the policy’s objectives, directions, priorities, inflation control, money supply, foreign exchange, loan quality improvement, and the roles of banks and financial institutions.

The program also addressed participants’ queries. The event was chaired by BIFU Nepal’s president Dharma Prasad Mainali and featured chief guest Rameshwar Phuyal of CPN UML and the Professional Federation of Nepal. Over 150 participants attended, including key officials from BIFU Nepal and related organizations.
