Bhat-Bhateni in Balaju now

KATHMANDU, Aug 23:

After a week of opening a branch at Anamnagar, Bhat-Bhateni Super Store has opened its eighth branch at Balaju in Kathmandu.

The Balaju outlet of the country´s largest chain retailer came to the operation from Saturday. With this new outlet, Bhat-Bhateni Super Store now has seven outlets in the Kathmandu Valley and one in Pokhara.

Bhat-Bhateni on the day offered 10 percent discount on all products at the Balaju outlet. According to the company, all products like clothes, cosmetics, liquor, kitchenware, garments, electronic appliances, furniture and decorative items, furniture, food, among others, will be available at the outlet.

Min Bahadur Gurung, chairman of the company, said the newly opened store will provide quality products at a reasonable price. Gurung established Bhat-Bhateni Cold Store in the early 1980s. The cold store was upgraded into Bhat-Bhateni Super Market at Bhat-Bhateni about a decade later.

Bhat-Bhateni is opening another outlet in Kalanki on September 6.
