Bears Slam NEPSE Down 40.26 Points; All Sectors Bleed Red

The NEPSE index closed at 2,889.03 today after losing 40.26 points from yesterday's closing. The index had lost 18.54 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2,933.23 and made the intraday high at 2,936.77. While it went as low as 2,882.10, it ultimately closed at 2,889.03.

A total of 10,557,866 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 5.358 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 5.195 Arba. 222 scrips traded hands via 75,895 transactions.

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 22.14 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 675.30 per share. The units of Nabil Balanced Fund - 2 (NBF2) traded the most.

Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB) gained the most 8.23% while Rastriya Beema Company Limited Promoter Share (RBCLPO) 7.3%.

All sectors have lost today. Finance lost the most 2.98%.
